Pytanie #1:

What do you think of my first chapter so far?

I already asked this, but I didn't get enough answers and I added things. Please be honest. Thanks so much!
Chapter 1
Jade slammed the front door shut, startling all of us. Mom put the dish towel on the counter and went out to the foyer. Jade was running up the double, elegant stairway without even looking to see who was home like she normally did. I followed Mom and glanced at her.
“What in the world?” She sighed. I shrugged and followed in Jade’s footsteps.
“I’ll handle it.” I called back behind me. My sister, Jade and I were close in age, with me being fifteen and she being eighteen. I always went to her for advice before anyone else, since she remembered better what its like to be 15. We talked about a lot of things, anything that was wrong.
I checked every room with the door opened, making my way to Jade’s lounge. When Dad designed this house, he made sure everybody would have their own room to go to a room that’s not their bedroom. So he made everybody their own personal lounge. Even my parents have separate lounges. We each designed our own lounge so it would be perfect for us. After all, we had all the money in the world to spend.
Jade’s room was covered in red and pink. She had a large red sectional with pink heart throw pillows. Her television and stereo were connected to the sound system. The shelves that hung around the perimeter of the room were covered with the CDs and DVDs that Jade collected.
There was no sign of Jade, until I heard the soft sobbing. I turned around, taking my hand off the door knob. “Jade?” I called out. The sobbing stopped, almost as if she did’t want me to hear her, almost like she wanted me to leave.
“Jade? Jade, it’s only me, Kylie. You don’t need to worry. I can help you, I always help you.”
“Leave me alone.” She whispered. I turned to face the mini fridge. Nothing.
“No, now get up and tell me whats wrong.” I demanded.
“Kylie, just, just leave me alone.” She said louder, her voice choking over the words.
“Why? Can’t you tell me?” I moved toward the couch. She was behind there; I could see her feet, sticking out.
“JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU CAN’T HELP ME! YOU’RE JUST A STUPID TEENAGER!” She screamed at me. I jumped and nodded. I placed my hand on the doorknob and turned it open. I went back downstairs to find Mom and my brother, Mitchel. I shrugged and sat down to finish my homework. I guess we couldn’t talk about anything. Apparently, I’m just a stupid teenager. I fought back the tears of rejection and concentrated on American History.
“Let her calm down.” Mom told us. I nodded. They probably heard Jade screaming.
“Jade is such a drama queen.” Mitchel grumbled. I glared at him.
“She is not. She’s just a bit upset.” At what, I don’t know. Mom tossed me an apple and Mitchel an orange.
“Dad won’t be home until seven o’clock so we won’t have dinner until half past seven. Eat these to keep you satisfied for now. I don’t want to hear you guys complaining until then, you understand?” We nodded in unison.
I closed my textbook shut and stuffed it back in my bag. Taking my apple, I went upstairs to my own lounge. I’d taken advantage of the money Dad was making. He told us we could spend as much as we wanted. I bought a full sized black leather couch and two love seats. My television comes out of the wall with a button next to it, or a remote that I had connected to the love seats. There was a vibrating black leather chair in the corner, with a long row of books, my own personal library. My stereo system was hooked up into my entertainment system. I had a purple pool table, as well as two of those racing games with the chair and seeing wheel that are in arcades. It was my dream room, with lavender colored walls and cherry wood floors. Perfect.
I sighed as I grabbed a bottled water from the bar I had built in a few months ago and dialed my best friend, Trisha’s phone number on my extension line.
Obviously, we were rich, and I took advantage of it. My dad was the most successful movie and television producer in Hollywood at the moment. We were rolling in money, but my mom totally hated it. She preferred to clean the house on her own with no help except from us. She hated the thought of nannies, cooks and housekeepers. Fortunately, my dad was the same way. They weren’t complete snobs like half the people in the gated community for the wealthy that we live in. Farfield Haven. That’s where we live. It’s the gated community for only the wealthy. Most of my friends lived in Farfield Haven. We attended school outside of Farfield, but we all stick together in the neighborhood. The mall was only a total of fifteen minutes, depending on traffic, away from my house, which was convenient whenever I needed something.
The lounges were the only thing we were spoiled with. The only other things that our parents spoil us with were credit cards. Jade and I each had our own credit cards with a total of three hundred dollars on them. But they were limited. Our father added more money after two weeks, if we needed it. If we didn’t, then he left us with the three hundred dollars we had already. Mitchel wasn’t old enough for a credit card, with him being nine years old.

Pytanie #2:

What do you think could be done to make American open wheel racing rival stock car racing?

IMO I think that 3 or 4 things need to be done.
1) More oval less street racing.
2) More cars entering events.
3) A better more recognizable main sponsor.
4) Larger purses.
Just ideas don't be vicious be nice in answering
racefish: In order to be cost "protective" I understand the whole H/D/F system. It's kind of the same in NA$CAR. May not be the best for the sport but it is understandable.
lucky: I said more ovals because that's what most American racing is: Ovals. I think that in order to be competitive with NA$CAR, IRL needs to race on ovals.
nas88car: I think you will agree with this. In cup brand loyality is forged. If my driver has a certian decal I am likely to buy that product. Take Bud, Miller or Tide for example. Even Sprint saw sales increases after they got the series.
Robbie: i had to look up and see what IZOD was. That's why it is less reconizable than Sprint. I would garner that at least 85-90% of the population of the US knows what Sprint is. I bet most people don't know what IZOD is. I could be wrong however.
As for American drivers, I may be in the minority here but I could care less where any driver was born as long as
(s)he has earned a seat. There is no question that the split wounded open wheel in America, but like i said it would be nice to see it rival stock cars again.

Pytanie #3:

I'm looking at trading my car, and I need to know if this is a fair trade?

My husband is at work, but he mentioned to me that he wants to trade his car for a truck. I found someone who wants to trade, and I need to know if you guys think this sounds like a good deal or not...

The Truck: 1987 S10, lowered 5 inches. 2.5l 4 speed, has American racing wheels with new tires. Truck runs good driven daily, gets about 20mpg, body looks good little rust inside bed but other than that, its solid. has 2 buckets seats with a center console an a new Sony CD player.

The Car: 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, 91,000 miles on it, passenger side lock drilled out, trunk doesn't open, air conditioner needs recharged, radio needs an antenna, clear coat paint chipping in a few spots, two small dents, runs perfectly driven daily and can get you from point A to point B.

So...those of you who know something about vehicles, does this seem like a fair deal? My concern is that this truck is almost as old as I am!! I don't want my husband to laugh at me. I'd prefer all of you laugh at me instead if necessary. Thanks :)
I'm definitely going to ask him first, but only if it's not absolutely laughable :)
The truck has 194,000 miles on it...ouch! - I'm thinking I'll need to look elsewhere... Plenty of other options :)

Pytanie #4:

Why do guys who drive different American cars always try racing me or taking off fast?

I drive an integra GSR and its basically stock down to the stock factory wheels. The only thing done to it is an aftermarket exhaust system and thats it.

Ill be at a stop light waiting for it to turn green and when it does the guy next to me will take off really fast (as I just put it into gear and take off normally).

Ill be behind someone and theyll stare at me in ther rear view mirrow and when the light turns green theyll floor it.

And the cars range anywhere from a ford taurus to chevy berattas to mustangs to explorers. And, not to be racist (because im not), its always a white guy driving the car.

Any ideas why they do that? For white guys who do and who are reading this, do you still feel super fast when u take off on someone and u find out they are not even racing you or even trying?

The only time I even do any "spirited" driving is when i get on the highway ill open it up sometimes. But because of my paranoia of getting pulled over or getting into an accident I rarely ever speed on city streets.. I never provole anyone though.

Please no racists comments, serious answers only please..

Pytanie #7:

Will an American win an IndyCar race this season?

Petty nationalism aside, will any of the Americans in the IndyCar Series win an event this season?

Last year, three Americans won: Rahal, Patrick, and Hunter-Reay.

Does it say something that the highest form of American open-wheel racing has yet to see a native son or daughter taste victory in 2009?

As usual, sarcasm and bad attempts at humor are always welcome.
Haha! Nice try, Jeremy. Good on you for being man enough to admit a mistake, though. I was about to say, if Briscoe is an American- he sure has a different accent. :P

Pytanie #8:

Was CART the greatest racing we ever had?

F1 and Indycar are 'okay' but in my opinion, nothing equalled the excitement of the north American top-league open wheel racing of the 80s and early 90s. My favourite era was the PPG CART days. What say you? Do you miss the old days of N.A. open wheel racing?

Pytanie #9:

Has anyone here seen ESPNs list of the greatest drivers of all time? What a disgrace?

They are only at number 16 so far but already i can tell you its a complete joke. Niki Lauda and Nigel Mansell are behind a woman who drives in a straight line for 5 seconds. Some lad who races dirt ovals is number 25. Who the fuck is steve Kinser? In that case i think i should include Eamon Bolan he has after all dominated the Irish Rally championship for the last few years. Obviously that means hes one of the greatest ever...or not.

Tony Stewart is ahead of Alain Prost and Niki Lauda. Tony Stewart won the IRL when all the good drivers were in CART! And american open wheel talent is far behind F1/GP2 anyway.

Alain Prost is number 16 for gods sake. There are no rally drivers on the list so far. And that John Force lad is probably going to be top 5...it beggars belief that drag racers can be compared with real circuit drivers.

To have that many americans in the list is ridiculous. An american has won the F1 title only once - Phil Hill.

Won Le Mans 12 times(britain - 32)
Before anyone points out that americans have dominated NASCAR i would just like to remind you that NASCAR is a national championship not a world championship.

Americans figure very lowly on any world championship in terms of wins yet they dominate this list? How is this possible?

Oh god will you people stop bringing up IROC. Its not a real championship. Its nascar drivers racing nascar cars on an oval. No one outside of america knows what it is.

Shirly muldowney races drag cars. No matter what she achieved she does not count as drag racing is not real race car driving. Could she even do a lap of a race circuit? Probably no better than the average person if she can.

Yes there is more to racing than F1 ie. WRC, LeMans, FIA GTs, WTCC, BTCC and DTM and a few more.
Eyes in thedark...i was wel aware of Mario Andrettis achievements now you might want to make yourself aware of his nationality. mario andretti is Italian, he is 100% italian blood and he was born there..

Pytanie #10:

what do you guys think of my comedy sketch i just came up with?

Yo what is with kids today and their crazy trends?I saw a kid walkin around yesterday with a mohawk.Who gets a mohawk in this day and age?Probably just some poser who thinks he’s some cool motherfucker ya know?.Nah. I...uh.....i love my mohawk.Old folks give me dirty looks and parents hold their kids closer when they’re near me-I love it.Finally, a way to scare people off without having to use the energy to open my mouth. It’s like a gift from god, really.
Drugs:
Yeah, I’m around weed alot. But i can’t help it.I really can’t, ya know? It’s not my fault though, I mean........It’s everywhere.......on the streets, in movies......uhh..........in................my hand, baking in my oven, growing in my backyard.........I really can’t escape the stuff. And I know a lot of parentss out there are pretty edgey on the whole subject.
My advice to parents who comittted the shameful act of smoking weed as kids?Lie.Because without your trust, they will grow up better people......or.......at least.......that seems to be the golden rule.......right?
God, my parents must want me dead right now,
But seriously, addiction is a very serious matter.......I remember it pretty well .....i remember my uhh...........my addiction .....to........ headies.Took me a while to get back to the midgrade shit.Had to take classes for it.Thank god for their twelve step program."Ain’t got the cash?Downgrade the stash"
And whats with the funny look i’m gettin for pickin up my copy of high times at the bookstore?Motherfuckers just give me this look.I’m like"I only read it for the production values".

I’m a big supporter of NORML.That’s the uh......National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.Of course, my beliefs differ slightly from their’s.They believe marijuana shouldn’t be smoked behind the wheel.....but lets be honest........music is just way too good to be enjoyed sober, especially when doing something as monotonous as driving around. They say it slows reaction time, sure, but so does reading the speed limit sign........the point is......it’s a fair trade, and I would happily risk the lives of myself and others to get the full effect out of my Cream CD.

Well....all of this is just a prime example of how an innocent child like me can become a slave to the menacing narcotic known as marijuana.
So parents out there-I’m tellin ya’.Keep your kids away from that shit it’s bad news.Instead buy them a new set of glue or keep the Robitussin sitting out.Better to let your child OD from household items than to have him/her destroy the sanctity of the family unit by inhaling the evil fumes of that entirely illegal plant.Because lets be honest, we’d rather our kids OD and die from household items than let tham have to live with the shame of knowing they once got high on reefers.

Its funny though.I mean, if a kid really wants to get high these days....and I mean really needs to get high....guess what he can do?.......Kids today are now pissing and shitting in plastic bags, and fermenting them in the hot sun for days to a week and inhaling the fumes from it and they actually trip. They trip for hours off this shit(literally).I call it shit sniffing, but it’s more commonly reffered to as just plain........well......sniffing shit.Pretty fucked up isn’t it?Ya know who I blame? You.Every parent out there who has discouraged or bypassed an explaination of safe drug use.Yes.It’s all your fault kids have discovered these discgusting ways of getting high. Your suburban idealogies have backfired on you once again.Congratulations, because its because of you that we now have kids choking themselves to get high.

Electoral Shit:
Yeah. The electoral race is getting pretty heated right now. I’m a little dissapointed though . Everyone’s platform seems to be "change".Now I know as well as most do that Americans are stupid , but my god. What the fuck kind of platform is that?Hillary says we need change.Obama says we need change.Anybody remember what happened in germany in 1939?Yup.That fucking culprit, "change".......Which is why I’m voting for Ron Paul. Cause at the end of the day, the bitch, the bully, and the brother just ain’t cuttin it.
I love John Mccain though."Let us Win" ..................Mr Mccain, you can’t win the war on terror.Wanna know why?Because terror......ain’t a fucking people.
See?It’s just like the war on drugs, which I’ve also been told we’re fairly close to winning.
You think the dumbasses in Washington could have at least come up with a better name for this war, like........the "War on Americans".Cause thats what it really is when you think about it. They’re breaking the law everyday to spend mine and your hard earned money destroying......and then rebuilding a country that never threatened our "freedom" in the first place.
But I digress......John Mccain is just a third Bush and if you’re thinking of voting for him, you need to be taken to a dark room and shot in the face.

Religion:
I’m not a big fan of religion, either.I was raised Jewish and I’m proud to be, but I don’t study it anymore.Honestly, it’s a phase. It’s all a phase. For some people, that phase lasts their entire life, but thankfully I matured relatively early on.But ya know what?I still get a lot of crap about the whole jesus thing .I remember a kid angrily telling me once "you jews killed jesus".I looked at him, held my hands up and said "what can i say? butterfingers".Haha. No but jesus was a good guy.Got a little too attached to that cross though, but otherwise, a good guy.

fixing up a '68 gmc truck that runs like no other....?

i got a 1968 gmc truck that has as 350 v8 in it and to tell the truth i never seen a truck have as much torque and power this one has for its size except on tv. its primer at the moment but im considering glossy jet black with dark green racing stripes...i will settle for colors if i like them...i've already spent about 1500 on the motor just to make it run better. i done told you about the color and as for the exhaust im considering flowmaster super 44's...same goes for exhaust as for color. i will settle for different exhaust systems. and as for wheels im considering american racing mags...and for tires firestone street tires...im not sure what type yet. i havent looked into it that much. i plan on getting a good system in it to...and if i can get the money a holley 4 barrel carb to replace the current edelbrock carb. well im open to ideas so throw them out there...oh and for the record i turn 14 in june =P.
and by the way the emission laws in oklahoma arent that strict. there arent many and they dont enforce them....

Pytanie #12:

Did Tony George win???

Remember when CART and USAC ruled racing. The split that Tony George created so we could pay him every week. How he wanted to further American Racing. The split has hurt the open wheel series so badly. Now its a distant memory. If the IRL and whatever the other series is called ,mends fences,Will it matter?
Can they ever regain lost fans and make new ones?
I hope so,but as an old fan,I couldnt be less interested?
Indy 500 is still exciting, but the series needs help.
So looking back did King George win???

Pytanie #13:

american open wheel series to be unified?

This can only be a good thing. Its about time they got back together. Maybe Villeneuve and co can go race where they should be now instead of having to milk the nascar cash cow.

Media that covers American Open Wheel Racing?

What magazines/newspapers/TV Shows/Radio Shows cover the IRL IndyCar Series and/or the Champ Car World Series?

Thank you.

Pytanie #15:

new 08 schedule is released and no U.S.G.P. thanks Tony George?

first he is the Yoko Ono of American open wheel racing, now he's the Lee Harvey Oswald of American formula 1 racing, I hope the France family have him on their x-mass card list because they are the only people he's helping with is careless "business" endeavors as much as I love racing I thinking im going to boycott the IRL, since he wants to ruin all the other open wheel series I will do my part to ruin his, do you agree or disagree?

Pytanie #16:

'Spec Racing' at the top levels of the sport....it just doesn't seem right, does it?

The tradition of the Indy 500 and Championship-level racing has been innovation and newness. Think about the rear-engine revolution in the 1960's, the Lotus turbines, the diesels back in the day, the John Barnard Chaparrals, etc....

.....it just seems kind of sad that top-level American open wheel racing is spec. Half of the fun, seeing the new cars every year, is gone.

What do you think? Will the innovation return to Indy- and Champ- car racing?

I've always said that attempting to regulate the economics of a sport by regulating its technology is doomed to failure. Look at NASCAR -- not that NASCAR is a failure by any stretch, but their teams spend the $$$ available to them, and always will. If you want to regulate budgets, well then regulate them sort of the way the NFL does the salary cap. If it's going to be a customer-car situation like CART was, then it's pretty easy to at least set the price a chassis, gearbox, and engine go for...

Pytanie #17:

Where will the next generation of drivers in the IRL or CHAMP (for that matter) come from?

With the current batch of new stories that Sam Hornish is all but annouced that he will driving in NASCAR next year, it makes you wonder where the next crop of American Open Wheel racers will come from.

Most drivers in the Sprint, Late Model, ARCA and etc. all dream of deal in NASCAR. Why should they consider Open Wheel Racing?

Pytanie #18:

Watkins Glen Indy Car Race Question?

I wrote a book about American Open Wheel Racing and I'm going to sell it via internet. I'd like to drive some traffic to the book site by passing out fliers at the Watkins Glen IRL race in July. If I put my fliers on cars in the parking lot, will I get kicked out? I'm bringing family and friends so I definitely don't want to cause trouble but I'd like to get the word out there about my book. What do you think?
I was wondering if anyone has been to Watkins Glen or any other race track and knows the policies that a track like that carries. And no, you're incorrect. A race track is very different from a mall or shopping plaza. It's privately owned thus resulting in different rules. And I'd like to know what to do. Thanks ;)

Pytanie #21:

What do you think of this?

It's a little lengthy, but it won't kill you to read it...

I received a letter this week from a young Muslim man sending a dire warning to Americans. Yeah, I was as surprised as you are! He sought me out as someone who would actually listen because of my writings. What he said rang true... and terrifying.

He wrote of being raised in Islamic ideology, and the subtle, sinister methods that go beyond bombings and murder. He states it perfectly, and should be heeded by wise freedom-lovers. It bears repeating... a LOT of repeating. His own words are best, so read for yourself:

"... I was part of the frightening "system" until I broke away. The conspiracy is more subtle and pervasive than even the most paranoid among you can fathom... All this bin Laden, Taliban and al Qaeda story is the greatest diversionary tactic in history. The real invasion is more insidious, serious and much further along then you can possibly imagine. And it is your own liberal halves that are playing such a vital role in that. I'm talking about the silent invasion of your universities by our people. Open any leading American university's website and look at the list of professors and graduate students, you will see a plethora of muslim names. These are people that are in America, taking advantage of American know-how, and waiting to go back to their own countries to strengthen them.

"For the past century, your strength has been your lead in technology, but can you maintain that in the face of the fact the MAJORITY of doctoral students in your universities' technological programs are foreigners?... And it's not just us Muslims who are invading your universities. The greatest invasion is by Chinese and Indians, but there is a healthy percentage of Pakistanis, Egyptians, Turks, Indonesians and Arabs.

"I myself am a doctoral student... like the rest of the horde, I was a cog in the wheel. It is something that is not actively taught or talked about. It is like a subliminal message that is hammered into you.

"Can you imagine the damage that will be done if suddenly half of your university brainpower leaves?...But can you imagine the damage if half of that brain power goes to Islamic countries?... Every year thousands of young (muslims) leave for the US and Europe where they get graduate degrees in engineering and the sciences. Your own people are studying dancing, music, theatre, and art; all the while the knowledge that has made you powerful is slipping through your fingers.

"Wake up!... You can't let (Muslim) ideology become the dominant one in the world. Already the nordic races are disappearing...It's the same in the US. You are being invaded by illegal immigrants, diluting your country to the point of fracture. Muslims are multiplying like rabbits while you are busy in family planning and aborting the babies that CAN be born. Do you think any amount of technological superiority will be able to guarantee your supremacy in the face of 1-to-10 numerical inferiority? How will you maintain your identity as a nation when English is replaced by Spanish as the national language? Already there are school systems in the southern states that are teaching pupils in Spanish. Do your people not see this as a loss of national identity?

"What are your people doing about this? I'll tell you what. After 9/11, background checks were instituted for foreign students coming into the US. Because of this foreign student applications dropped... This instigated a crisis among universities, regents started writing congress and the senate telling them that it is an unacceptable situation. You can't find suitable graduate researchers out of 300 million people? You people need to shape up and start taking things seriously. Your secretary of state Colin Powell announced in Pakistan last year that the US would do everything to facilitate Pakistani students in the US. Stop bending over backwards and being so apologetic just for trying to protect yourselves from crazed fanatics."

Well well well. So now the rest of the world is recognizing us as a country apologizing for its own existence.

This young man isn't someone who can be labeled by our Politically Castrated press as a "racist white American," thereby disarming him and leaving him impotent. He has not been taught in America's education system to fear such an accusation as we in America have been taught. He simply states the truth...an odd concept in the age of wretched liberal control. His caveat is one that wise patriots have been trumpeting for some time now, but irrational liberals have disarmed, disabled, and disavowed. Read on:

"Take a look at this. It lists famous mathematicians by country. France is the highest with 211, England is second with 204, both countries are 20% the size of the US by population. This is because the US entered the game late. But entered it well. You had a good educational base and capitalized on it.

"Now I will come to my point. If the US could pull off this coup in the latter half of the 20th (even with such an apparently glaring discrepancy compared to France and England), then what is to stop someone else from pulling off the same coup in the latter half of the 21st?"

I couldn't have said it better myself. This man's name should be on this article for writing it, and it would be too... if he didn't deeply fear Muslim reprisals. Even he is not safe from radical irrational rage.

Since when did defense become an evil? Since when do righteous people have to justify themselves for rejecting the wicked? We have had many wise, wonderful leaders... when exactly did we forget and lose our vigilance?

This is our land, and by God--yes, by Him!--it is up to us to defend her and keep the evil doer out. Closing our borders is an act that isn't political--it's critical!

Our duty to ourselves, to posterity, and to mankind, call on us by every motive which is sacred or honorable, to watch over the safety of our beloved country...--Thomas Jefferson

Logic, reason, truth... why is it that we're having to be taught that by foreigners?

Keep the faith, bros, and in all things courage.
By Resa LaRu Kirkland
Well Tom, I didn't write it first of all, and second, what are you supposed to call people from other countries. Last time I checked, foriegner was not a bad word. You must be one of those clowns who think we should have open borders, but at the same time don't want globalization because of what the corporations do to developing countries. You can't have it both ways. I have no problem with immigration, but to have the doors open with no control over who comes in and out is stupid.
Jim, what the hell are you talikng about? I don't care what you and shiraz talk about in you emails. If you answer the questions, shouldn't it at least have something to do with the question. You are a fool.
